My piano cover of Fase-1 (by Pino Forastiere) Posted by: sergeidave
Video duration: 207 seconds I couldn't get a hold of a better camcorder, thus the poor quality of the video. So, since the raw sound would've been worse, I connected the audio directly to the computer and captured separately. Then I combined the lousy video with the better audio. Pardon my lack of technology!! =). Display Video Comments | Hide Video Comments | Add Comment |

To be honest, no. I didn't do any tweaking with the mic positions or any other settings from EWQL Steinway Piano. I still need to learn tons about MIDI and even start to understand how all these sample things work properly. I mean, you know that we have the whole orchestra right there with EWQLSO and that marvelous things can be done, but? I don't have the slightest idea on how to take advantage of that yet. =)

Absolutely beautiful. And not knowing the piece well enough to no the difference I don't know what mistakes you are referring to. :) However I have to ask about the piano... I have EWQL Piano, the full edition with all of the mic positions, everything. But try as I? might I can not get that kind of tone from any of my pianos. In fact I've been disappointed in the sound. Did you do any tweaking from the factory settings?

Yes, I have three kids running and? screaming all over the place, so I had to use MIDI cable and use a sampler in my PC. I used a Steinway from my East West Symphonic Orchestra (Silver Edition). Even though the audio is not directly from the digital piano, the performance is not edited at all, I just used the better piano sound from the sampler for clarity. The mistakes in there are mine, nothing edited.

Is this piano sound coming from the keyboard you are playing and if so what is it? If not? what is producing the piano sound?
